My first meeting with people with real physical disabilities and my venture into their world began with my residency training. Although I was a medical doctor, I was really just getting to know them. Most were people with disabilities who were paralyzed as a result of spinal cord and brain damage. Almost all of them were adults. As time passed, I realized that children also had similar illnesses but were not given enough care and facilities.
In 2011, as an academic devoted to this issue, I set out as a volunteer soldier with ENSEV in order to implement projects aimed at solving the deficiencies in the medical rehabilitation and education processes of our physically disabled children. Our aim is to help children with physical disabilities achieve a better and independent life. For them, life means struggle. You can be with our small but big-hearted children in their struggle with life.
Yours sincerely,
Head of ENSEV
The Physically Handicapped Children Health and Education Foundation (ENSEV) is an institution that aims to help all disabled people, but it primarily produces serious projects to solve the health and education needs of physically disabled children and strives to implement them as soon as possible. Thanks to medical treatments applied at the right times and in the right way, most of our children can gain independence and have a profession with an uninterrupted and complete educational service. For this reason, our goal is; like all healthy children, it is to bring them to our society as educated, cultured, thinking and productive individuals. ENSEV includes not only the families of disabled children, but also volunteer academicians who have important studies and experiences in their medical treatment and education. Our core values are:
Love
Interest
Devotion
Expertise
Empathy
Solidarity
